How we publish research and education
Our credibility rests on being checkable. This page states where our information comes from, how it is reviewed, what we refuse to claim, and how we handle mistakes.
Primary sources first
Company financial and ownership evidence comes from regulatory filings. Company identity comes from official exchange symbol files. Where a claim rests on outside research, we name the publisher and link to it.
Missing data is stated, never filled
If we cannot measure something for a company, the page shows that the evidence is unavailable. We do not estimate, interpolate or substitute a peer's figure to make a page look complete.
Point-in-time discipline
Research is built from what was actually public at the time. Filing disclosure dates — not the period a filing describes — determine when evidence enters a model.
No performance promises
We publish no return forecasts, no price targets and no claim that any score predicts future returns. Research lenses are labelled with their status, and research-only lenses contribute nothing to our score or rankings.
Dated and reviewed
Every editorial page shows a publication date and a last-reviewed date. Substantive changes update the reviewed date; a price refresh does not.
Corrections
When we find an error in published research or education, we correct the page and update its reviewed date. Where a correction changes a conclusion, the change is described on the page rather than made silently.
Quality before indexing
A page is only published for search when it meets our own quality threshold: original explanation, cited sources, a named author, genuine utility and no near-duplicate sibling. Thin pages stay unlisted.
Independence
We accept no payment to include, rank or describe a company favourably. Our rankings are produced by frozen models whose weights are published in full.
